Hydraulics: Harnessing Hydraulic Power is part one of the Hydraulics seven-part training series.

A knowledge of fluid characteristics will help students appreciate the power of fluid and understand how fluids both exert pressure to support loads and flow to move loads.

Course objectives include:

Identify the conditions that cause fluids to flow and exert pressure
Explain Pascal's law
Describe the relationship between fluid pressure and fluid flow
Identify factors that affect pressure level, flow rate, and fluid velocity in a hydraulic circuit.
