On January 15, 2009 a flight left LaGuardia Airport bound for Charlotte, North Carolina. Less than two minutes into the flight, Captain Chesley Sullenberger was forced to make an emergency landing in the Hudson River. Years later, this heroic story still exemplifies the importance of the Four C’s of safety – Competence, Compassion, Commitment and Communication.

Miracle on the Hudson Revisited: The Passengers’ Perspective includes first-hand accounts of that fateful day from both Captain Sullenberger and several of the passengers.
